Car Lease Deals

Lease a car from Regal Motorcars and you get no hidden fees, no dealer add-ons and no surprises at signing. We work across our whole dealer network rather than one lot, which means access to:

  • Every major make and model
  • $0 down lease deals on most vehicles
  • Manufacturer rebates and incentives as they change
  • Vehicles sourced to your spec, not just what is in stock nearby

Every deal is delivered to your door across Long Island — Nassau County and Suffolk County — and throughout New York City, New Jersey and Connecticut. No showroom visit, no waiting at a finance desk. Ask for a quote and a specialist prices your car the same business day.

Lease Deals Near Me

Searching "lease deals near me", "car lease deals near me" or "lease a car near me" usually returns whichever dealerships sit closest to your postcode. That means the deals you see are decided by geography rather than by the car you actually want.

Regal Motorcars works the other way round. Tell us the vehicle, and we source it. You get a wider choice of makes, models, trims and colors than any single dealership can hold, and the car comes to you.

Long Island is where we are based and where most of our deliveries go — Nassau County and Suffolk County, including Ronkonkoma, Hauppauge, Huntington, Islip, Smithtown, Babylon, Hicksville, Massapequa, Garden City, Hempstead, Riverhead and out to the North and South Forks. We also cover New York City (Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, the Bronx and Staten Island), Westchester, New Jersey (Bergen, Hudson, Essex, Union and Monmouth) and Connecticut (Fairfield and New Haven). Nationwide transport is available everywhere else.

Why Should I Lease a Car?

Leasing gets you a brand new car for a lower monthly payment than financing the same vehicle. You pay for the depreciation you use, not the whole car, and the vehicle stays under full factory warranty for the entire lease.

Leasing usually makes sense if you want:

  • A new car every two to four years
  • The lowest monthly payment on a given vehicle
  • No repair bills and no resale hassle
  • To drive under roughly 15,000 miles a year

Buying makes more sense if you keep cars for a long time or drive high mileage. If you are unsure, tell us the car and how much you drive and we will tell you which is cheaper for you.

What Do I Need to Know Before Leasing a Car?

Four terms decide your payment:

  • MSRP — the manufacturer's sticker price.
  • Capitalised cost — the agreed selling price. This is the part that is negotiable, and the part that lowers your payment.
  • Residual value — what the car is worth at lease end, set by the bank as a percentage of MSRP. A car with a high residual leases cheaper, even at the same price.
  • Money factor — the lease version of an interest rate. Multiply it by 2,400 for the approximate APR. It moves with your credit tier.

Two cars with almost identical sticker prices can lease for very different money because of the residual and the money factor. That is why comparing monthly payments alone tells you very little.

How Do I Get the Best Car Lease Deal?

Negotiate the price of the car, not the monthly payment. The residual and the money factor are set by the bank, so the selling price is what actually moves. Always ask for the term, the annual mileage and the full amount due at signing in writing.

Flexibility gets you a better number. The strongest deals usually come from:

  • Being open on exterior color
  • Skipping option packages you do not need
  • Considering a comparable model from another brand
  • Taking a vehicle already built rather than a factory order

What Are the Steps to Leasing a Car?

  1. Set your budget. Include insurance, which is usually higher on a lease because of the required coverage limits.
  2. Pick the car. Browse the deals above or tell us what you want.
  3. Choose your mileage. Be honest about how far you drive. Buying miles up front is far cheaper than paying the overage later.
  4. Apply. The credit application is online and takes minutes.
  5. Approve the numbers. Payment, term, mileage and everything due at signing, in writing, before anything is ordered.
  6. Take delivery. The car and the paperwork come to your home or office. Plates and registration are handled for you.

Can I Trade In My Leased Car?

Yes, and whether it costs you depends on equity. If the car is worth more than the payoff, the difference goes toward your next lease. If the payoff is higher, that gap has to be covered or rolled into the new payment.

Values move constantly, so it is worth checking the payoff and the current market value before assuming either way. We will run both numbers for you at no cost.

How Do I Avoid Getting Ripped Off on a Lease?

The four most common ways people overpay:

  • A payment advertised with thousands down, presented as if it were $0 down
  • A marked-up money factor, which is legal and is pure profit for the seller
  • Add-ons like paint protection or fabric treatment slipped in after the payment is agreed
  • A lower mileage allowance than the one you were quoted on

All four disappear if you get the term, the annual mileage and the itemised amount due at signing in writing before you sign. That is standard on every Regal Motorcars quote.

Frequently Asked Questions About Leasing a Car

What credit score do I need to lease a car?

Leasing is tiered rather than pass or fail. Roughly 700 and above reaches the advertised programs. Lower scores still lease, usually at a higher money factor. Scores in the low 600s are workable on many vehicles, and an application is the only way to know your tier.

Can I lease a car with bad credit?

Often, yes. Some brands run programs specifically for weaker credit, and lenders outside the manufacturer banks write leases the captives decline. What changes is the money factor and sometimes the amount due at signing, not whether you can lease. A co-applicant widens the options considerably.

Can I lease a car with no money down?

Yes, on most vehicles. $0 down means no capitalised cost reduction. First month's payment, the bank's acquisition fee, registration, plates and tax are still due. A true sign and drive lease rolls those in so nothing is owed at delivery. We will tell you which one a quote is.

What are the most common lease restrictions?

A mileage limit, usually 7,500 to 15,000 a year, with a per-mile charge over it. A wear-and-tear standard at return. No permanent modifications. Higher insurance limits than the state minimum. You do not own the car, so it cannot be sold.

What happens if I go over my mileage?

You pay a per-mile charge at return, typically 15 to 25 cents depending on the brand. Buying extra miles when the lease is written costs considerably less, so it pays to be realistic about your annual mileage up front.

What counts as excess wear and tear?

Normal use is expected. Charged items are dents larger than a coin, scratches through the paint, cracked glass, torn upholstery and tyres under the minimum tread. Most brands publish a wear guide, and fixing small items yourself before return is usually cheaper than their charge.

Can I buy my car at the end of the lease?

Yes. The price is the residual value fixed at the start of the term, plus any purchase fee. If the car is worth more than that residual when the lease ends, buying it is effectively a discount. Some manufacturers restrict who may complete the buyout, so it is worth confirming.

Can I extend my lease?

Usually. Most lenders allow short extensions, often month to month for up to six or twelve months at your existing payment. It is common when a replacement car is on order. No extended warranty purchase is required. Ask before the lease-end date rather than after.

Can I end a lease early?

You can, but paying the termination charge outright is usually the most expensive route. Trading in, transferring the lease to someone else, or buying the car and selling it privately are often cheaper. We will price all three.

Can I take over someone else's lease?

Yes. Lease transfers are a good way to get a shorter term, since you take on whatever is left. You qualify with the lender yourself. Check the mileage already used and whether the original lessee is fully released, because not every lender does that.

Is it possible to refinance a leased car?

Not in the way a loan is refinanced, because you do not own the vehicle. What you can do is buy it at the residual using a finance agreement, which turns the lease into a loan on a car you own. That is worth doing when the residual is below the car's market value.

What insurance do I need on a leased car?

Comprehensive and collision, with liability limits above the state minimum — commonly 100/300/50. The leasing bank is listed as loss payee. Most leases include gap coverage, which pays the difference between an insurance settlement and the lease balance if the car is written off, but confirm rather than assume.

What are the tax benefits of leasing for my business?

A business can generally deduct the portion of the lease payments matching business use, with no depreciation schedule to track. Sales tax is typically paid on the payments rather than the full price of the car, which spreads the cost. Your accountant should confirm the specifics for your entity and state.

Can I tint the windows on a leased car?

Generally yes, provided the tint is legal in your state and removed before return. Reversible changes are fine. Anything permanent — body work, wheels that cannot be swapped back — will be charged at return.

Can I move to another state with a leased car?

Yes. Notify the leasing bank and update your insurance. The bank owns the car, so it handles retitling. Some states charge use tax on the move. There is no need to end the lease.

Can I use a leased car for Uber or Lyft?

It depends on the lender — some prohibit rideshare use outright. Rideshare driving also burns through a standard mileage allowance quickly and usually requires commercial insurance. Ask before signing and take a higher mileage allowance.

Why do some deals say "call for price"?

Manufacturer programs change monthly, and a payment that is no longer current is worse than none. Where a number has not been confirmed against the live program, the listing says so and we price it the same business day.

Can I lease a car that isn't listed here?

Yes, and it is common. The vehicles above are ones already priced. If you know the car you want, ask for a quote and a Regal Motorcars specialist will price it against current programs.
